Fantastic Stay in a Unique Hotel

easy walkfun decorhelpful staffmissing television
The location was GREAT, within easy walking distance to attractions. The room had fun decor, air conditioning and it was quite comfortable. I found a wonderful bistro a few doors along. The staff were very helpful. It was a magical stay, as I had dreamed of this visit for years!!!
I found no television in the room, disappointing. I think a television is a basic amenity for a hotel room in this price range. This is something they could easily improve.
Facilities
9/10
The hotel had a corkscrew. basic crockery and cutlery available. I found this useful. A coffee machine was a nice touch. A fridge was also an added bonus.
Rooms
9/10
The pink room on the ground floor was quite spacious. A heated towel rail was helpful. The shower was really good. The bed was very comfortable.
Dining

The hotel did not have a restaurant. There was a kettle for making tea. There was no option for breakfast onsite, a shame.
Service

Check-in was very easy. The new manager Paul was very helpful. He arrived at the hotel just after I did. Staff answered quickly to my requests.

Average Stay with Notable Issues

non-functional aclate-night check-in
I was pretty frustrated. The room's AC didn't work, so heating was nonexistent. It felt chilly throughout the night. Check-in was a disaster. I never received check-in instructions. I was stuck outside at 1 AM and had to contact customer support to get the door code. The owner sent instructions two days later. This did not improve my trip.
